A Book of Poems - Selection of Poems

This painting and the next nine were created to illustrate on canvas Víctor Martín Iglesias’ book of poems “Suplicaréis Clemencia’ (You Will Beg For Mercy) published in 2017. Schneider selected the nine paintings and created small canvases - 12 in square - using oil paint, graphite, cloth, and thread to represent the struggle of youth and the happiness of the age.

This first work executed using elements from each one of them summarizes the book and its intricacies
